English class Whether you are taking an English class in middle school, high school college or graduate school, you may wonder why English matters, particularly if you plan to study or work in a field in which you think English is irrelevant. Possibly the most important reason to take an English class is its relevance to virtually all fields and careers. Wherever speaking, writing or critical thinking is required, English class is useful. No doubt, English is the most common language spoken everywhere in the world, English has been playing an important role in majority of the sectors such as medicine, business and so on. English considered as the universal language. English is the first and foremost criteria whether you are applying for a job or maybe look for college or university. As we can see, peoples without a relevant qualification of English mostly will be rejected or required to have extra English class while they were on the disadvantage compared to others who own a proper knowledge of English. Taking an English class during college is important for a fundamental education, because regardless of the major I chose, I must able to communicate well in written and spoken words. After all, in the future, when I try to obtain a job or internship, the corporations will most likely base their decision on my ability to express ideas and opinions in a sophisticated and correct manner. Therefore, increasing my knowledge and skills in English will increase my opportunities to success. Yet, currently, many students try to avoid taking English class due to the great amount of practice and dedication that requires.
