A workers personal view should not influence an individual’s choices as everyone is an individual in their own right and therefore should be able to make their own choices as their interest would be different to workers. I would support an individual to question or challenge any decision made by others by giving the individual full information with regards to that decision in an unbiased manner, if the individual wanted to make any changes with that decision then I would discuss with my manager and use agreed risk assessment processes to enable the individual to make those
I believe my guiding statement will definitely help me if I were to have a disagreement with my supervisor at work. First Respect will be very important when having a disagreement. Both parties should treat one with respect, to keep a common ground and eliminate conflict or chaos, especially in the work environment. If I am committed to my place of employment as much as my supervisor is committed, the disagreement would be easy to work out. However, in some cases both parties won’t come to and common agreement.
They also struggled with understanding the difference between their ‘best alternative’ and the lens assigned ‘best alternative’. Ethical lenses adopted by individuals tend to influence decision making by affecting how problems and conflicts are approached. Your ethical lens of preference makes you ‘blind’ to the other approaches and makes it difficult to see the benefits of the other lenses and weaknesses of your own lens. This adds tension to groups because what seems like the best solution to a problem to a single team member might be completely inappropriate to another. The team found that these different approaches can create more issues within a team or group if you don’t understand that everyone has their own ‘right approach.’ To a rights and responsibilities lens approaching an issue head on and dealing with the conflict directly might not be fun, but it is necessary in order to move past the problem in the most efficient way possible.
I put together the following plan: (2.2) (3.5) * Consult with my line manager the way forward * Contact the Team teach trainer to understand what other methods we could use e.g. de- escalation techniques and arrange re training for the team (3.2) * Contact other managers within xxx to attend training and buy into the de escalation techniques. * Contact schools to see how they used Team Teach in crisis (this is a word I will later change to “incident” as again I understand that crisis does not necessarily explain what has happened) (3.2) * Arrange a team meeting to discuss with the team the way forward offer ideas and suggestions and receive input and feedback. (2.1) (3.1) (3.2) 3.6 The aim of this is to always look for the best possible outcomes for the young people in the
I would do this so that I could see how both of them would react. I need to see if, maybe, it is something as simple as they need something to reach for. I would also pull both of them aside and talk to them. I would be the type of team manager that wants to know if you have problems in your personal life or things that you are going through. If I know this then I will know if it is issues with home or work bothering
The first tool chosen is the Considered Opinion and Devil’s Advocate tool. It is important to work directly with staff actually doing a specific job. Talk to them about something that is not working and brainstorm to come up with solutions. As Devil’s advocate, come up with instances against the ideas and why they will not work. This will help decide what the best way to go will be.
When problems are not dealt with they can become conflicts against the company that can take long times to settle since they employee most likely found someone who would listen to them. This can be an outside person who then can bring law suits or worse. This is not good for the company so these problems should be handled quickly and in the right ways when they
In my opinion, nothing is more dangerous to a business than a bad public image caused by being unethical. Once a company’s reputation has been destroyed, it is hard to rebuild it up. They will always be known for what bad things they have done, no matter how successful they become afterwards. It is sort of like no matter how good of a person you are or the good stuff you do, once you make a mistake, people will always remember that one mistake you made. We as humans tend to be more loyal and truthful to our family and friends compared to when it comes to our jobs and businesses.
51. I understand that many researchers think the use of deception in research is necessary because human subjects are sensitive to how others perceive them and how they perceive themselves to be. These researchers believe that this self- consciousness will lead to inaccurate research results. I, however, do not think that researchers should ever use deception when conducting research with humans simply because it is unethical. When intentionally deceiving any participant, you risk harming them because the integrity of the informed consent process is jeopardized.
Personal attitudes can affect the way you work everyone has a different attitude and everyone has a different belief but these two should not affect the way you are meant to work there has to be a certain way to work because if everyone worked different the way they should be working then it can go wrong the quality of work should be the amount of effort you put into it . 2.1 -Explain why reflecting on practice is an important way to develop knowledge, skills and practice Learning activities can improve an individual’s knowledge skill set and understanding by providing you with new ideas, such as something you haven’t encountered before. Learning activities also give the individual new areas of learning, such as subjects and topics that you may have not previously worked on before. With extra knowledge and skills you get more confident in your work because you have the knowledge and skills to do so. 2.2 -Assess how well own knowledge, skills and understanding meet standards.
