Indicate how you would leverage their employee evaluations to motivate each of the three employees. Describe one or more of the motivational theories and explain how the theories connect to each of your selected motivational strategies. Team Member Name Summary of Individual Characteristics Motivational Strategy and Action Plan Relevant Theory Patrice R. Patrice is a highly motivated individual that strives to accomplish the mission. Her ability to self-motivate makes her a stand out employee. The motivational strategy I am recommending is the goal setting strategy. Patrice values feedback. Setting a goal for her along with a set date evaluation gives her direction. Patrice wants to feel relevant to the organization, setting a goal for her gives her that relevance she needs to strive. Jonathan F. Jonathan has a high sense of job gratification. Jonathan is more a loner, however, he is able to handle expressive situations with moderations. The self-gratification strategy seems appropriate for Jonathan’s personality. Jonathan has issue focusing on the bigger picture of the organization, however, he is very good at his job. Routine is Jonathan’s strong point. This strategy will work in his work effort because it makes it his gratification. Shawn F. Shawn has shown to be a team player. Although she shows signs of being a tab over emotional, her willingness to succeed has over shadowed her areas of faintness. Goal setting with recognition is the strategy recommended for Shawn.
