There were over six million Jews that were murdered during the Holocaust. Toward the end of the war prisoners that were in the concentration camps were liberated, this attempt to free the prisoners continued until May 7, 1945 which was the day the Germans surrendered without a fight. The crimes that were committed during the Holocaust had a permanent effect on the Jewish population, even till today. The Holocaust was caused by Hitler Germany needed an enemy that could be blamed for everything bad that had happened to it after WW1 and the Jews were a perfect target.. The Holocaust happened because Hitler wanted to get rid of the Jewish race.
Why Did Hitler Hate the Jews? Most history students know that over six million Jews were slaughtered during World War II. However, there are actually several theories as to why Hitler hated the Jews. What was the cause that instigated one man to try and wipe out an entire race of people? Let us try and look at some of the possible causes or factors that lead to this cold-blooded massacre.
The Holocaust began after a Jewish youth from Germany shot a German diplomat living in Paris. Hitler then violently persecuted Jews, using the event as an excuse. The Holocaust began with Kristallnacht, when Nazi troopers destroyed Jewish-owned property in Germany. As a result of Kristallnacht, many Jews fled Europe and went overseas to places like the U.S.A. After Kristallnacht, Hitler ordered all Jews to be segregated into ghettos, which were living areas specifically for Jews. Hitler hoped the Jews would die of starvation or from disease as the ghettos had horrible conditions.
The St. Louis was forced to turn around and head back to Europe. There was also discrimination against Jewish people in Europe, especially Germany. The Holocaust was the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of approximately six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its collaborators. Why this discrimination occurred was because Hitler hated Jewish people and blamed them for Germany losing World War I. He considered Jewish people to be less than human.
The Allied Powers have also been taking the war. It is difficult to hear about my fellow Nazis’ battling them and how more and more Nazi are being murdered. I feel as if the war might be lost and so will the dream of having a Utopia. I cannot stand this much longer. The Jews and others must be hastily exterminated.
They decided they are going to start killing them. So the Nazis started putting on camp where they are going to kill Jews and make them suffer until they are dead. But some Jews thought whatever they heard about the camps were not true so they trusted the Germans and moved in to those camps. Jews thought the camps were for them to survive from the war that was going on. The worst camp was the Auschwitz, it was the largest concentration camp.
He believed that Jewish people were inferior to other human begins. Hitler beliefs and ideas caused him to create an army called the Nazi to help carry out his plan. The Nazis followed Adolf’s plan to kill Jewish people by creating concentration camps and gas chambers. The Nazis tortured and starved the Jewish people to their deaths. Out of fear and to avoid death themselves, many German civilians accepted Adolf Hitler leadership or they hid from him and his Nazi army.
Jessie December 12, 2010 Mon/Wed Sociology Sociology Of The Holocaust The Holocaust is one of the worst things that has ever happened on Earth. The sociological factors of Germanys society of that time have a lot to do with what happened through the years of Hitler’s reign. This essay will explain five factors that I believe caused or had something to do with the events that happened, From Hitler’s great ethnocentrism to his authoritarian way of leading the country. The great differences between the Jewish culture and Hitler’s idea of one forced the Jewish to become a counterculture. Hitler forced the people of Germany into changing their norms and values, allowing for it to happen.
“The killing of some six million Jews by the Nazis during WWII. To the Nazis, the holocaust was the ‘Final Solution’ to the ‘Jewish Problem,’ and would help them establish a pure German master race. Much of the killing took place in concentration camps, such as Auschwitz and Dachau. The ‘holocaust’, a term applied by the Nazis to the genocide of European Jews during WWII. Before instituting the Final Solution, the Nazi government had abolished Jews’ rights destroyed and confiscated their property, and confined them in concentration camps.” (The New Dictionary of Cultural Literacy).
The Cause of the Holocaust Many people ask themselves “what caused the holocaust?” There are many answers to this question. The holocaust mainly started because of Adolf Hitler. Hitler thought that people should look a specific way. He blamed Jews for every bad thing that happened to Germans. As a result, Jews were murdered, abused, and emotionally scarred because of who they were, and the way the looked.
