Electrolux Cleans Up Electrolux Cleans Up Abstract Electrolux Cleans Up, (case 10.1 pg. 307) talks a lot about how effective it is for teams and groups to come together to solve a common problem or issue. As a class we were asked to answer the three questions at the end of case 10.1. One of the questions talks about communication barriers and the other two questions focus on teamwork as being a very important factor to have in most organizations. I was able to read the case and determine the reasons as to why the Chief Executive of Electrolux, decided to make some changes to help the organization run a lot more smoothly. Upon reading it was found that when individuals in an organization work together, they can accomplish a whole lot more in less time. Whenever a company can find ways for them to save more and time by working together with their employees it makes them be able to produce their products more efficiently. Electrolux A Company by the name of Electrolux is one of the global leaders in the household appliance industry ("Electrolux,”). This company is also known for being the leader in the business industry as well. A company within this particular industry is almost always known for its ability to make sure that they keep up with the changing demands in the industry. This is put in place by making sure that they are as innovative as they can possibly be. Innovation is known as an idea being translated into a product or service that people are willing to pay for (("Business dictionary.com," 2010). As long as an organization or company realizes that they have to be able to work together as a team with effective communication they will be able to continue to be as productive as they want to be within their business.
