He does that just because he gets amused by observing how the audiences choose a place to sit along with their bad behaviors the movie. Finally, he states that he should inform the readers about these behaviors before they find themselves “succumbing in these annoying traits” (182). First, Dermody advises the readers to leave their kids at home. For movies that are not really made for kids, it is better that they stay at home. It can set a “day-care center atmosphere” when there are too many kids inside the theater (182).
In this essay I will be talking about how children are affected by television. Although many parents these days do not want their children to watch television, there are a lot of educational shows available today. Many parents may not want their children to watch modern television, and I would have to tell those parents that there are some shows out there these days that are very educational and they are aimed towards the young. Watching the educational cartoons can be very helpful for a child’s mind. There can be positive results emotionally, physically, and psychologically.
Newton Minnow’s in his speech also refers to the idea television has the ability to influence people. He focuses mainly on children and that the content on TV does not benefit them. He emphasizes the fact that children, in 1961, spend as much time watching TV as they do in the school room. So Minnows asks the questions “is there no room on television to teach, to inform, to uplift, to stretch, to enlarge the capacities of our children? Is there no room for programs deepening their understanding of children in other lands” To relate Minnows to the current study of private broadcasting I will ask, If the goal of private broadcasting is suppose to ensure a more adequate performance of Canadian content to target all areas of the demographic population, do you think Canadian broadcasters have done an effective job?
The other children will try to avoid the child that is unable to share, this can affect the emotional and social development of the child who is unwilling to share as they will feel lonely and neglected and even abandoned. If a child is overweight or even obese and they struggle to do PE at school. As they may not have the energy and could get tired very quickly. This can cause classmates to be annoyed with him for delaying the class, or when working in teams. This can cause children to bully them for it.

Technology will also restrict children from playing, this could be because of game consoles or television programmes. Parents who let their children watch this cartoon need to sit down and pay complete attention to one of the episodes. Why? "Characters in the cartoon sometimes use words like "stupid" or "jerk" that parents may not want their kids to repeat" (About.com). Take the episode, "Pest of the West" for example. It gives off a horrible lesson for children on treating friends, because SpongeBob constantly offends his best friend Patrick Star and there is a ton of name-calling such as the word "stupid."
By making these foods their market is getting smaller because it is destroying the consumers, literally. Nowadays, someone has some sort of illness like cardiovascular disease or diabetes. Consumers are surrounded by advertisements, especially young children. Young children watch television a lot. Young children are the ones who are most on social media and they see so many advertisements it is unbelievable.
“Most adults, has some concerns for their children watching those shows. They had a thought that they might influence their kids to do some bad things in life because of the violence in the shows”(Feinstein 2). But that was not the only thing that they might have thought would influence their kids, “comedians were now on television too, and it was big for them because they could say stuff they could not say on the radio” (Adam 2). That did not top their daughters and sons from watching television; it is not like they could watch it all the time. Plus, there were only a few
Have we lost our society where do we stand at with our young generation? Everywhere we look the problem is there; violence is in our eye sight; in the streets, playgrounds, school, and even in our own back yards at home. Even if one might “try to” cover violence up, the problem will seep its way into our homes through the television. Some children that see violence on television are pulled into its harmful deception of problem -solving. The young teenager believes that this is the way life should be like on T.V.
In the United States, television is sometimes censored for offensive language and behavior. Many audiences that watch TV or films usually get bothered based on the offensive languages. What can be done by parents? How can it help with censored channels? Censorship in television really relies on the person whom is watching either TV or a movie.
