Popular music began its entry into film scores after World War II. Until this time, most scores still characterized classical film scores with wall-to-wall music and a full orchestra. However, this slowly began to change. Before the 1940s, popular music was rejected due to the difficulty of applying it to the changing moods in films. However, with the growth of the New American Cinema Era, where this style of changing moods was replaced by a single, general mood, popular music became acceptable.
The Outsiders, by Se Hinton, was very different from the movie the Outsiders. The book gave a lot move description but I’m glad I saw the movie to get the actual picture in my head. I don’t think people should by separate by the way they look or how much money they have. All people have feelings. If the movie had more detail it would be more interesting.
Lennie was described as a huge monster in the book, so the thought was that he was completely out of the ordinary, but when I watched the movie Lennie was just big but he was not out of the ordinary. I felt that the movie was great and it was a lot better than the book. It made me understand things more than the book because it was a visual type of thing. It is horrible that their plan could not follow through and that George had to kill Lennie. The movie wasn’t as dramatic as the book, but I bet it still made an affect on different people.

They were so much alike because they both were very good from the start. Some things that happened in the book, although they didn’t happen in the movie. You could really tell in both the book and movie the friendship and love with some people. If you watched the movie and read the book you might think the same thing, you might not, but here are the reasons that I think the book is better even if the movie wasn’t that bad either.

Like my last statement, it would harm people's knowledge on history, even though it doesn't look like it has great importance it is the small details that always count. The movie of 1960 to me did harm the way people thought of Bowie that he wanted to abandon the Alamo while Travis insisted on staying when in fact, both men thought it essential to hold the Alamo. I know some of the best movies that I have seen are movies that was first a hit song plus if you look at some as simpley as the way someone might talk. But the way I see it I really don’t think the music really do much as for social behavior because if it is something you do and then say the only reason you did that is because you might have seen or listen to a song is just a cop
I will look at the elements it takes to produce as well as analyze a movie. It takes great skills to orchestrate a great film. John Ford states” You don’t compose a film on the set. You put a pre-designed composition on film. It is wrong to liken a director to an author.
