The effects of moving to a new town or city. Moving to a new town or city can cause so much joy as well as frustration. One has to adapt to new people, new roads, new environment and embrace new opportunities. Here are some of the effects moving to a new town or city can have on a person. Firstly moving to a new town or city, presents one with the opportunity to meet new people and make new acquaintances. It is a pity that one has to leave ones friends behind and having to start new friendships. It can be really scary to think about it, but there’s always a silver lining for every cloud. With meeting new people new opportunities present themselves to learn about new cultures, languages and new personalities. Moving to a new town or city can also be very scary thinking about having to adapt to a new environment. The thought of getting lost in new streets or neighbourhoods, not knowing what to expect of the neighbourhood or not knowing if the neighbourhood is safe is terrifying. The frustration of having to memorise new street names and having to find your way around new neighbourhoods can take a serious toll on one’s mood. When moving to a new town or city usually the main things to consider are the facilities such as schools, hospitals, fire brigade stations, police offices and shops. It would be a terrible to find yourself in a situation whereby the schools are not up to standard or that the fire brigade doesn’t even exist in this town or city. Not having many shops or variety of shops can be such an incontinence. It would be a nuisance to have to drive out of the town or city just to get specific items especially if one doesn’t have their own means off transport. In conclusion I would say with all the new opportunities whether it be bat bad or good, moving out of a town can sometimes be inevitable and the only to cope with the effects is to learn to adapt to
