ESL 185 11/15/2011 Final Draft of Effects of Email Effects of Email People are using internet all over the world to communicate, work, educate, play games, listen to music, and purchase items. Email is an important example of communication through the internet. Email has affected our society in many positive ways to help people communicate easier, cheaper, and faster. The first positive effect of email is to make it easier for people to communicate. People are using email in all kind of devices like computers, notebooks, and cellphones. It became rarely to find a person that has not had an email address yet. Furthermore, using email is very simple. People who know how to use computers or mobile devices will not find it difficult to use an email. For instance, people can create new email address using websites like Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail. Users will find email very suitable and convenient way to communicate. Moreover, email becomes very necessary to every single person nationwide. For example, people can use email to call their friends, families, and relatives that live in different places of the world such as Africa, Europe, and Middle East. Also, email could be used to share information easily. Sharing might include pictures, videos, and reports. All of that would keep people in touch and informed. For instance, people send pictures of their own to their relatives who are out of their countries. The second positive effect of email is to make it cheaper for people to communicate. It will cost nothing to create an email address like Hotmail, Gmail, and Yahoo. In addition, every person can have more than one email address and from different websites. People are used to send their important documents through mail before email came out.
