Effective of technical writing In today’s world writing and documents can be distributed faster than ever. In the speed of its delivery people might lose the Technical part of writing, by shortening words, using slang or not being very clear on its meaning. Chapter 1 in the book Technical Communication in the twenty-first century tells us how technical documents should be written. These are some of the most important aspects that make chapter 1 as a Technical Documents are: being aware of the audience, being concise and being technology oriented. Chapter one is also a technical document because it applies to the audience, meaning the college student or the worker who has picked up the book. The level of language is understandable, and you can apply the information into your papers right away. The information is useful and can apply into your everyday life at school and work. Chapter 1 is very clear, easy to understand, and correct. In age of instant communication our technical writing skills are more important than ever, especially when it is in a working environment. We must able to provide the information in a more interesting and clear way to the one receiver of the document. “The documents describe every aspect and provide every detail about the subject that an audience need.”(8) Understanding the needs of the audiences in a working environment is very important. As the documents clear and correct it will be easier to negotiate and provide the complex information in a workplace. Chapter one is a technical document because it is concise, meaning there is no extra information or words to distract the reader about the purpose of the chapter. It says all it needs to say in a good amount of space. It is also clear in all its concepts and objectives. Chapter one uses examples and defines hard to understand concepts and words.
