How does dropping out of high school affect your life? Many teenagers may believe that dropping out of high school can be a lot better because they can make money by working in Full time jobs but the truth is that not everybody is able to work full time jobs especially if you don’t have a high school diploma. Dropping out of high school gives you fewer opportunities like earning less money and most likely you would regret it because society will miss judge you for not having an education. Since high school graduates have more job opportunities than dropouts, you’ll also have a better chance of getting a job that interests you. There are many awful effects of dropping out of school. Obviously the first effect is that the person dropping out will not be as well educated thus it will make it harder to get a good job because the employer will see the drop out and think that person gives up on what they do and doesn’t care about this person’s future in the world neither their place in society. Furthermore there is the social aspect, especially in high school. What are you going to do when you drop out? You will probably end up working at your local McDonald’s or Burger king earning the minimum salary. In less than a year they may end up firing you because it won’t be a stable job and then you won’t have a place to go. Earning a minimum wage of $8.00 per hour won’t get you far in life I mean it is a nice salary for a teenager who barely started working but would you still want to keep earning the same minimum wage for the rest of your life? As many young adults we all want to have a nice big family with many kids when we get older but the problem is that how are we going to be able to support all of them?
