Perseverance is key when it comes to honor; one must stand against the constant torrent of impeding obstacles to maintain any level, let along the highest level, of honor. Honor, like the shore of the island, is commonly looked at as being isolated, yet it still has a certain charm about it. Next you have courage. Courage, also known as bravery, intrepidity, and fortitude, is the ability to to stand up to fear, pain, danger, or intimidation. "Physical courage" is courage in the face of physical pain, hardship, or threat of death, while "moral courage" is
Transitionary elements such as weather, natural disasters, lighting and seasons all make up a part of these landscapes and impact how we feel towards them. Thus in my opinion an imaginative landscape is simply the meaning one adds to a physical landscape. There are many connotations behind a landscape and more significant, profound meanings that affect each individual contrariwise. Each piece of the ground has its own story to tell, its own history and its own memories. Our culture and backgrounds make a huge difference in how we perceive a landscape.
The tree personifies the human race. It may represent the fact that, as humankind, we all have the same “roots”. The tree is such a powerful symbol, it put everyone into one category and shows that we all have something in common; roots, leaves, branches, etc. And if you think about it, people from all nationalities come across the tree and they in fact all find peace in the shade it provides. This is illustrated in a quote form the poem; “But seek no haven in my shadow.
A landscape is defined as “geographical areas or properties uniquely representing the combined work of nature and of man”. However, there are three different types of landscapes: designed landscapes, vernacular landscapes and ethnographic landscapes. Due to the significant values that cultural landscapes provides to people across the world, it is extremely important to preserve and respectfully treat it. It is important to preserve and treat cultural landscapes for “change and continuity”, “historical significance” and “integrity and physical conditions”. Change and continuity is essential for cultural landscapes.
They will be with me always. I won't forget them over time. They may fade a little but will never go away or change meaning. They are a part of me that I will never runaway from. Unlike a favorite outfit, piece of jewelry, or even a lucky hat over time they won't degrade or break.
A consistent, peacefully affable warmth, ample rainfall, damp air, and rich earth nurture the abundance of vegetation that grows. The abundance of vegetation benefits animals, birds, and insects that are soon to become a nutrimental source of the Mbuti diet. The culture of the Mbuti derived from their dependents on the forest for survival. They believe the forest is the center of their universe and everything good or bad must come through it. The forest is a sacred haven to the tribe.
Law enforcement officers need to uphold the law in order to enforce it, so police officers must have a strong sense of right and wrong and they must generally exhibit and encourage good behavior to the public. This sense of right and wrong and the desire to do good in the community is perhaps the most important trait a police officer needs to have. Police officers often find themselves in high-stress, volatile situations. At the other end of the spectrum, they deal with a lot of mundane, routine patrols. They deal with dishonest and dangerous people, and also victimized and abused people.
I also learned a lot an about outdoor ethic and LNT and look forward to applying it in my job in the future. Besides learning rock climbing and LNT I feel I learned a lot about myself as well. I was able to learn what it takes to be a leader, participant, and teacher in these outdoor activities and how to apply what I learned to my future. To start I learned
They are by nature hard working, smart, open minded and willing to learn. They are good at adapting to new circumstances while still determined to preserve their national identity, being passionately patriotic. However, I can’t deny that many lack honesty, responsibility and discipline at work. In their social life, they are unpunctual, boastful and selfish. They care only for their families at the expense of others’ interests.
My favorite aspect in Nature has always been trees. In my eyes, they are magical. Not only do the give us the oxygen we need to survive, but they also provide us with energy and support. Trees are wise, gracious, and inviting and although this may sound silly some it was the belief that the Druids of the celtic people held. The druids, who were ancient celtic priest and expert observers, believed the human race descended from trees, so each tree had a magical power.
