1. Introduction Drug abuse is a kind of substance abuse which is hardly a new problem in the world today. Teenagers are not the largest part who use drugs; however, as the economics in each family develop, more and more teenagers are addicted to drugs. There are many reasons why teenagers fall into drugs such as curiosity, peer pressure, lack of proper guidance, misinformation about the danger. Therefore, many bad effects are brought to them. The next generations of humanity will get worse if practical solutions are not given instantly. This research is tent to discuss about all the matters above and what steps authorities, societies have to take to solve these serious issues. 2. Discussion of findings 3.1. What are the causes of drug abuse among teenagers? The main reason for drug abuse among teenagers is curiosity. Teens, at first, know nothing about drugs. Nevertheless, they hear about drugs every day. They watch films or some articles which show that drugs can bring them some new feelings or drugs can be fun. Moreover, if their families have a member addicted to drugs, they are at high risk of being persuaded to use drugs. They see their family members behave differently while on drugs, and they want to try how it really feels. There are many kinds of drugs and they can experience various feelings which they have never been before. Once they use it, they get hook on it and it is really hard for those teens to keep off drugs. When teens feel depressed or stress after many sad stories happened before such as the divorce of their parents, the low marks at school or at university, the broken-up love, they can easily fall into drugs. Drugs help them escape the reality. They find drugs not only to feel cool but also to forget everything which brought them sorrows. The last reasons come from families and societies.
