Aaron Martinez Alan Webb English 1301 March 8, 2012 Dropping out of school is a decision that will affect you for the rest of your life. Education is very important for us in order to determine how well off we’ll be in our future. Many students decide to drop out of school at an early age and for different reasons not realizing that this can determine many things in their lives. Some of the reasons are because of financial difficulties, very low interest in the classes and failing courses, problems at home and drug abuse. Financial difficulties play a big part to the students dropping out of school. Some students don’t have the sufficient income to finish they’re studies to pursuit a career and they end up having to leave school even if they don’t want to. They end up working either to try to pay they’re courses or to make a living you out finishing a career. Most of the time if they choose to work and study at the same time it becomes very difficult for them to organize their time and priorities and they end up having to pick between studying and working. Another reason why students end up dropping out of school is because of very little interest in classes. Most students find school boring and see it as a daily routine. They don’t feel challenged to learn and very few subjects grab their attention. They might also experience lack of motivation or encouragement to follow up with their classes due to that some classes give low aspirations and are not related to the careers the want to study. This can cause students to fail courses and end up dropping out of school due to low grades and averages. Problems at home can also cause someone to you drop out of school. When there are issues at home it is very hard for a student to concentrate on what has to be done at school or anything they would need to work on or study for. It is hard for them because some
