Both sports are played as professions, in schools, and just for fun. Basketball and baseball are sports that are very much alike and very much different in numerous ways. There are many reasons on how these sports are alike. One reason would be that Basketball and Baseball both involve teams. They are both sports that involve team leadership and also sportsmanship.
Everyone has that one place where they feel most comfortable, that place where you feel right at home, where you are most happy. For me that place, my community, is the basketball court. Although my love for the game far exceeds my ability to play, basketball is my passion. Basketball fits my character, being that I am a competitive athlete and basketball is my favorite sport.
