In every chapter, the truth of Jesus is revealed. Jesus reassures us through His word. He is “The one and only”, “Lamb of God”, “I am the bread of life”(John 6:35) “I am the Good Shepherd”(John 10:11) “I am the light of the World”(John 8:12). John has given us a personal tour of the life of Jesus. We are able to see the “behind the scenes” of the life of Jesus. The book of John allows us to really have a chance to commit ourselves to the Lord by reading of His miracles. John makes it clear that Jesus is not just a man, but He is the son of God. He records the personal relationship that Jesus offers through His disciples. He carefully instructed the Disciples on how to continue his belief after his death yet they could not take it in. Thomas is especially remembered as one who refuses to believe what the others saw. He was refusing to believe that Jesus was alive. (John 20:25) Thomas was remembered as “Doubting Thomas” and some may say that he deserved to be respected for his faith. It is known that Thomas’ doubts were purposeful and was his way of
