Does language play a role of equal importance in different Areas of Knowledge? Language according to me is a method of communication used by humans in the form of either written or spoken consisting of words, signs or symbols. Without language it would be impossible to pass on an idea from one individual to another and having said that all Areas of Knowledge depend in some way or another on passing of information from one to another. For example history is an Area of Knowledge which is highly dependent on the use of language and if it were not for language they would be no way of passing on the information of the past generation to the future generation. I myself being a history student can say that it would have been impossible to know what really happened in the industrial revolution if it were not written down. Therefore proving languages importance in history. Now that we know that Language is quite important in all Areas of Knowledge the question arises “does language play a role of equal importance in different Areas of Knowledge?” I would say yes it does play an equally important role because none of the Areas of knowledge could be formed or even by accessible without language. And this response in return raises the question “To what extent can it be justified that language plays an equally important role in different areas of knowledge(KI)?” I would say that to a large extent it can be justified that language plays an equally important role in different areas of knowledge to justify my knowledge issue I am going to use Mathematics and History and show how equally important language is in the two of them. Mathematics is a area of knowledge where language is immensely important in order to find out the truth or in other words the answer. In mathematics language is used in two broad ways one is the use of numbers, notations, symbols or variables
