In the book ‘Anthem’ ,Prometheus, also known as ‘Equality 7-2521’, learns that his whole life and raising was a lie, and that there was a time before him where there was not a dictatorial government. Ayn Rand uses plurality in Anthem to convey conformity. Obedience, by definition, is an action of complying with current customs, rules, or styles. Since being an individual is basically eliminated in the city portrayed in Anthem, it’s government can easily force it’s collectivist ideals on all its citizens, who now comply to it. Singular and possessive pronoun use is avoided in this society to help hold the idea of self-uselessness.

My answer is I think individual usally does not intended to become an addict. No one wake up in the morning and say or decide to be a drug addict. I think it takes at least three month's shooting twice a day to get any habit at all. The reason I said that, cause my husband told me that a long time ago. I think again the individual who become narcotics addict does not have strong motivation in the other direction.
