What is the difference between local, county, state, and federal law enforcement? What do we have them and how is their authority differing? Local officials will enforce all levels of law. The most common law enforcement officials that we see are municipal police officers that deal with cities and townships. The main difference between these officers and those at the state or federal level is they are the initial enforcement front for all criminal laws.
When people hear the word detective, they automatically assume that all detectives do the same type of job title. But that assumption is practically wrong depending on how it is looked. Wherever a person is established, it depends on the city. It depends on how big or how small the city is. And in most large cities, they have enough crime to allow detectives to develop specific expertise in certain crime solving and bringing the criminal to court.

However, being a law enforcement officer can also be a very dangerous job. Statistics show that officers killed or assaulted in the line of duty is on the rise. The goal of policing has five basic goals: enforce laws, preserve the peace, prevent crimes, protect civil rights and civil liberties and provide services. The men and woman of law enforcement risk their lives daily to make sure the citizens in their area are safe.
Stand Your Ground: The Right to Self Defense In our violent world today, the ability to protect ourselves is very a important factor in our lives. Police cannot be everywhere at once and that is the reason almost all state legislatures have incorporated some kind of self-defense statute for their state. The ability to use deadly force for self-defense has saved many innocent lives over the past couple of years, but it has also taken several. This is the reason why there has been such a great controversy about the normal untrained public, which is our society, being able to make calls about using deadly force. Police Officers provide a service to the people of the community which whom they serve, they come in many forms including: tribal police, public safety officers, parking enforcement officers, consolidation officers, contract officers, special-jurisdiction officers, and taskforce officers. There are also county, regional, and municipal police as well.
However, convictions are rare due to the careful cover-up of evidence and a lack of reliable witnesses. One example of common behavior among organized crime groups is community manipulation. By offering threats of harm or promises of protection to the surrounding citizens of the community the organized crime group gains power and the ability to continue their criminal activity with a lesser chance of being caught. Law enforcement relies heavily on information from citizens while conducting criminal investigations. Organized crime participants are master manipulators and can easily instill fear in the citizens within the area.
That is essentially telling the victim that it is their fault. This could lead to the victim not testifying if the person who committed the rape is found and it goes to trial. Everyday Ethical values are called into question by the men and women of law enforcement and it is up to them to overcome as it is part of their job. Sometimes they slip and get away with breaking their ethics but eventually they will get caught and will end up in the same prisons that they have promised to put criminals

Members of law enforcement are government officials that impose the laws and preserve order. There are occasions, when the police officers are engaged in a dangerous and stressful call of duty that can involve violent situations that must be controlled. We as citizens value law and order, we do not want to see our streets run by criminals who terrorize people who abide the law and we as citizens created police departments to prevent law and order not to join in with the criminals. We all decide d that police officers should have the ability to use force, but not in all situations.
A lot of people have died because of police officers and the reasons are clear, it is due to criminal activities they have undertaken and then refuse arrest which later causes a spark to ignite between the authorities and the civilians. Other times it is proved that police men just take advantage of their rights and brutally use force against citizens. Are police officers considered fair or brutal towards people?
