UNIT 513 POSITIVE OUTCOMES FOR INDIVIDUALS Dear shell i have thrown this together quickly so it may not be too good but hopefully will be ebough xxxx 1. As a manager it is vital that i support my staff team to achieve and demonstrate desirable outcomes with and for the people they support in whatever capacity.By outcomes I mean the specification of the differences that are intended to result from a given activity. 2. Approaches to outciome based practise should be open and transparent, it should involve all of the people supporting the person and the person should be in the centre of it all. Taking into account the opinions of others and listeneing properly to their input will encourage a healthy team and also give the person involved control of whos and what input they would like in their support.
I really enjoyed getting to know 2 of my team members whom I worked very closely with on this project and will keep in touch with after this class is long over. As for what could have gone better, I feel we had some serious disruptions that caused our group to form in a reactive manner… versus naturally; I would have liked to experience a more solid group experience. 2. If working in a group: What did you learn from working in a project group? Aside from the class content I learned that I don’t wait for things to happen I went into this telling my group that under no circumstance could I lead this project but I found myself incapable of waiting for things to evolve on their own, I have more of a leader personality than I thought.
Samantha Mcintyre NVQ 3 Unit 2 – 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, 3.2 Task 1.2 Mentor Meeting It is important for a carer to obtain feedback as this will let them know where they are doing their job well and also to be aware of any improvement that can be made in order to meet the needs of the service users. Improvements could include attending training courses or changing their attitude in some way, or simply remembering the dress code for work. Everyone reacts differently to receiving constructive feedback. Some may listen to all that is being said and take it all in and understand the reasoning for this, they will then make any changes they need to improve themselves. Others can become defensive as they may feel that they are doing everything right and that there are no changes that need to be made.
By having deadlines set like this, it made everyone accountable and able to have their information or opinion written up in the wiki so we were able to move onto the next stage in a timely manner. In a group task such as this, a major factor would also be the members wanting to succeed. As a group we were all focused on the same outcome, working together and putting our information into the presentation as best as we could. As we were all focused on the same thing, very early on we communicated clearly with our group members. I was heading away on a family holiday for a week and I told the other group members what day I was going away and when I was coming back.
I really enjoyed reading both of these speeches. As result, I concluded giving honor and respect to troops and their families was the main purpose of both speeches. That’s the reason I believe Gettysburg Address and Funeral Oration are very much alike.Gettysburg address by Lincoln and funeral oration by Pericles is the two of the famous speeches in the history. In my point of view both speeches have the same meaning because both speeches were conveyed to honor those troops who had died or got injured in battles. Also Lincoln dedicated monument for the resting place for troops and people who died during wars.
I received an induction training course when I first joined the company, which provided me with specialized training relating to my job role sector. I receive regular supervision with my line manager, where I can discuss any problems, and get support when required. I can also request additional training if required, and my manager can highlight areas where she thinks I would benefit from further training in. I attend regular refresher courses in training, so that I am up to date with the current legislations and policies required for my role. I treat all service users with respect and dignity, and my work practices reflect and promote equal opportunities.
The review was signed by my manager and me, at which I was given a carbon copy of as well. The strengths of the evaluation process help determine the actual way employees perform their duties, against the way they are expected to perform their duties. This way, they understand the importance, and familiarity of what is expected in their job duties. Therefore, the employee will work harder to achieve his/her expectations. This helps the employee to become motivated and enthusiastic and it progresses the development of the company as well.
It accounts for 59% of the reason for job satisfaction. In my particular position, I work very closely to my supervisor so it is very important for me to have a good relationship with her. There have been times where we did not exactly see eye to eye and our personalities clashed and it made work extremely uncomfortable and miserable for a very long time. Finally, we were able to resolve our differences and now can work together in a peaceful environment. Having a peaceful working environment is very important to job
I was amazed to see my family and I being treated the same way as the native citizens, and I have remembered this all my life, especially when I became a citizen of this great land. This equality was also afforded to me when I joined the Army; it once again amazed me that I was being treated with the same respect as native citizens. As I stayed in the Army, my conviction in the principals of America became stronger, which is probably the main reason I continued my service. As the Senior Maintenance and Logistics for my organization, people would often come to me for advice, and I would be given the opportunity to give my expert opinion which was taken as gospel, something that I would have never been able to do in my native Philippines. Another founding principal that has made America successful is the separation of power between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of the government.
Good Assessment Task Educational Assessment Methods ED305 March 05, 2013 Good Assessment Task "Assessment (as I define it) is not something to be despised or ignored as irrelevant or impossible but embraced as an essential aspect of learning and the best way to truly understand and improve that learning.” —Bill Moore As I read the study and after watching the video I realized that assessment has a legitimate purpose. From my own experience in the Army we use assessment in learning on a daily basis. When I was in any military school we were assessed on what we learned and also how we comprehended it. Sometimes our instructors would get so competitive with the other instructors on having a class with the highest grade that they began teaching to pass the test and not really teaching to standard of actually learning and understanding what was taught.
