My profession is District Attorney otherwise known as the D.A. I make up to $65,650 including taxes and excluding very generous tips. I approximately make $80,000 a year including tips, bonuses, and paid vacation. I’m a prosecutor (criminal offenses) and I represent the citizens of Florida in cases where people commit felonies. I live in Golden Beach, Florida in a mansion named Intracoastal Waterway Luxury Estate. My schedule is as follows: 10:00- I arrive at work and check my emails, 10:30- If I’m currently working on a case I research information concerning the defendant to attempt to put them in jail or (I go to court), 12:45- I go to lunch (preferably the Subway on 2nd ST.), 1:30- I return and search the files on upcoming cases, 1:50- I…show more content…
I work 8 hours for 5 days excluding overtime (the maximum is 4 hours overtime). I am completely devoted to my work because I love to stand up for people and their rights and I conclude in every case that the defendant has committed a wrong-doing and ultimately needs to be punished for their careless or stupid actions unless they were defending themselves they deserve at least house arrest. I love my job because the hotel nearby lets us have 5 rounds on the house and I get to put criminals in prison for their illegal actions. I absolutely hate when knuckle-heads testify and waste my time because they are stupid and their statement doesn’t make sense which may lead to a mistrial if the evidence or the witness aren’t clear enough. I have to interact with people on a daily basis and I often have to persuade the jury to do what’s right. I’m awesome because I make a lot of cash for negotiating with people and not being sympathetic to people who commit crimes. The D.A. has taught me skills such as learning how to be persuasive and professional when the time comes. The best part of work is that I have the time to go back to my family and enjoy my life until tomorrow @ 10:00. I absolutely love the D.A. life! It
