And while you may not be able to change the world, you can change your reaction to it.’’ Hadley et al (1996) Stress isn’t always a bad thing and it can be very useful to some, ‘’we all need a certain amount of stress in our lives or we would not be motivated to do anything at all’’ Chrysalis SC (2010) There are six categories in which stress can be categorised Chrysalis SC (2010) let us know what these different types of stress are ‘’ * Hypo stress: Lack of motivation, bored and unchallenged. * Eustress: This is a positive stress that increases performance and motivation. * Acute Stress: Felt through tension and physical disturbance. It is treatable by various methods which may take up to 6 weeks. * Episodic Acute stress: This is the more damaging type and is a symptom associated with hypertension, stroke or heart attack, and many more. This can be treated but may take 6 months medically. * Chronic Stress: This can be treated but it is a serious state where there seems to be no end to with associated medical conditions such as cancer
