Discrimination in America is as old as America itself. Discrimination is the act of overpowering an individual due to the color of the skin or race. From education to workplace it's everywhere. Discrimination will always be controversial in American Culture.
Discrimination is a major problem in America. In America there are a lot of different ethnicities. Discrimination seems to be directed by the White majority against these minorities. These minorities have been discriminated in such areas as housing, education and employment. Discrimination in the workplace is one of the high rated issues still in America. Government is trying to do as much as they can to solve this problem. Issuing laws and amendments to the constitution, the government has done all they can do to help minorities in the United States. The problem of discrimination has nothing to do with government, it's coming from families. Parents and grandparents are installing these ideas into children without even knowing it. Grandparents, who lived through the world before civil rights, are sharing their thoughts with children and by doing this they are leaving the impressions among the children. For children parents and grandparents are their role model. They are observing their thoughts and so the discrimination problem continues.
Discrimination must be stopped. The fight against discrimination is ongoing still now. To stop discrimination we have to understand different kinds of discrimination, the reason behind it and how we can stop it. At workplace we can implement different policies that will fight against discrimination. Such as firing, suspending will definitely help. We can give each and every employee a policy book.
