Staying with the patient and eventually sees him calm and smile again somewhat makes me feel proud of myself and our team making the patient a happy person again. However, I believe on my part I still need more learning, reading and research in my interpersonal relationship with clients as I progress in my studies and through my career in
Keywords: culture, prepared, school counselor View of Myself Looking back at the receptivity scale, I feel as though my responses have made me realize that I am very well prepared to be a school counselor. What I see, what I know, and what I display to those students around me in the school environment lets me know that I truly am a people person. I love helping others regardless of race, gender, religion, disabilities, adults, children, and so on and so forth. That is just the personality that I carry. What I do believe is that being raised by a GOD fearing woman, who strongly stands firm by his word, has taught me many things.
She has a compelling voice I will never forget .I remember Ms.Gentilini being a dedicated ,motivating, patient and intelligent person that challenged me to better myself every day. For instance one day in class we had a writing assignment and i was a little puzzled on the prompt ,Ms.Gentilini came over and said “sacoya your a smart girl and you can do it just take your time and use the skills I taught you “ that motivated me to think harder to understand
He offered a lot of help and was willing to make notes on my paper to attempt at helping me make my paper the best it could possibly be. I really appreciate his time and effort and definitely took in to account some of the great and helpful feedback he gave me. Another person I would also like to shortly thank is Professor Miller. She took the time out of her busy schedule to sit down and have a conference with me and go over any questions. It made it easier to figure out exactly what she was looking for in my paper.
I believe Mrs. Williams left an impact on every child who was blessed enough to have her. When compared to a few other teachers I have had, there is a very practical reason why Mrs. Williams sticks out. Her thoughtfulness and cheeriness top the charts. Mrs. Williams has influenced me so greatly that I have decided to become an English teacher. I only hope to be half as great as her.
This builds our relationship in tremendous ways because I can relate to her better and I know how to comfort her. When she listens to me I believe she understands what I go through and how much I try to be there for her. This makes her more understanding of why I feel stressed or my freaking out at times so she doesn’t resent me. When listening to my husband, we continue to connect with one another and learn new things about each other every day. This brings us closer together and allows us to understand each other more.
I think the humanistic-encouraging trait is important because like any other leader, people must trust you, set goals that are attainable, learn how to resolve issues in a constructive manner, and encourage your followers. I enjoy listening to people’s problems and helping them think positive and find the healthiest or best solution. I am normally the person my friends come to when they need to talk to someone. I believe as a manager a person must have a sense of how a person is and deal with each person individually if needed so each person as an understanding of what is the mission is. Controlling as a manager is something I believe I will have to work on.
Brigham Young University-Idaho Devotional April 24, 2012 "Faith, Hope, and Charity" Stan Kivett Instructor, BYU-Idaho Department of Religious Education Brothers and sisters, I count it a privilege to associate with you. You are amazing young people whom I respect very much. You bring a wonderful spirit to this campus. When I teach Family History and read the biographies of my students, I am touched by the challenges I realize each of you is facing. I testify with Alma that the Savior can lighten your burdens (Alma 33:23), give you success and comfort (Alma 31:32), and succor you according to your infirmities (Alma 7:12).
I will profit the same time to say thank you to all the staff member of Hodges University, to my fellow classmate, and particularly to my “Chair Program” Dr. Joseph Kibilewski who is always there to assist me with classes and to give me very good advices. Another special goes to the Librarian people specially Mrs. Riva who is never tired to see me asking for help, to the registered office members, to the financial Aid and to all other professors who were able to understand me when I struggled in their classes when it’s time to give an oral Presentation. Hodges University, it’s the best school in the community, all together they are doing a very good job to help people to become more independent to their self and to give them another orientation for their life especially “single
The Spirit in Work Thank you Josh And Alexandra for a really great presentation, you set the bar high. Jack Hawley's book, The Spirit in Work, came at a great time to reflect and bring to life his ideals. The start up of school has really made it clear who is leading with love and who is leading with fear. Reflecting on my own past style of leadership in the classroom, I would say I was a mixture of both. My fear that student's wouldn't take me seriously lead me to make choices that were far from loving.
