Ahmad Jan Hussam Alowaibeel 120070118 120070103 Marketing 420 - Direct Marketing Dr. Mikhail Zenchenkov 1 ABSTRACT Recently, people are highly involved in social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube....) in their daily activities. waking up in the morning and checking his profile on Facebook and tweet his thoughts and ideas on twitter. Even when you wanted to ask about something in internet you "Google it". From there the pressure grows up on companies around the world to involve highly in social media platform and forced to implement a strategy that seek the interests of their customers and potential new customers. For our research, we wished to examine the performance of the worldwide firms through social media marketing efforts. After noticing that even thought these companies are multi-million dollar companies, their performance in the social media platform has not been that good. Therefore we chose to conduct a research to find out why companies not involved that much in social media network. We started our research with gathering data in regards to these specific three networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). First, we developed a Literature Review and gave deep look of marketing on social media .
