He also says that through this idea the value of the word “friends” since nobody could have more than 500 real friends. He basically claims that through new technology the important value of solitude and privacy gets lost and that teens don’t learn the important values. He also claims that the value of the word “friend” gets decreased through new technology. His main audience is teenagers and students who grew up with the new technology and therefore didn’t witness the “old” education that was more about values and the importance of privacy and solitude. He also wants to address teachers and parents
Computers did not exist in their generation, so they never learned to how to use them. The traditional students are more familiar with today’s technology, their knowledge is more advanced. Older students are better with reading and writing skills, due to experience and better education. Traditional students have better knowledge of computers, as they are taught in school. Traditional students are weak in reading and writing due to the “No Child Left Behind Act” implemented in 2001.
This one fact shows evidence that David has BICS (Basic Interpersonal Communication Skills) for both languages, but surprisingly little to no CALP (Cognitive Academic Learning Proficiency) in Spanish as well as English not only for himself – but his parents as well. The NLL teacher, regular education teacher, and I (his student teacher) have speculated whether his parents have confused the NLL program to a Spanish emersion program. In addition to the NLL program at Pillsbury, David’s regular education teacher has done many things to adapt the curriculum in the classroom to fit the needs of the Spanish-speaking students. The morning meeting (focusing on the calendar, morning message, and counting on the 100’s number chart) is primarily done in English with some Spanish. The Spanish portions include the days of the week, the months of the year, and counting by 10’s to 100.
The audience of this article is referring to everyone who uses mobile devices to stay in contact in this day and age. The art of writing a letter to someone has been slowly diminishing through the last past few years, as we have used technology in our everyday life to keep in contact, state our opinions, and even express our feelings via internet network. If the host has a working network interface that is connected to a network, chances are it is managed by DHCP uses DNS for name resolution. Although most end users don’t know or understand the how their computer connects to the Internet and never realize their computer is being managed by the router/gateway installed by their ISP which perform the roles of DHCP and DNS servers. Joe Buchmann ASL II Melissa Pilant February 23rd, 2015 “Sound of Fury” I don’t have much experience with the Deaf culture. I have a friend I met online who is deaf but he was able to write so I never fully got into the deaf world. Reason why I mention this is it is hard for me to relate to the Deaf community such as I can relate more to the hearing parents in the film. However, I don’t agree with everything that was said from both parties. I can understand what Mari and her husband are saying about wanting the cochlear for their son Peter but I also understand where Nita and her husband were coming from.

I mostly learn by listening to a teacher talk and writing the most important information. When I found out that I didn’t have a professor explaining the subjects I was lost on what to do, but I did my best. Fortunately some subjects provided webinars to help me and it made me more comfortable having someone explain in more details and having someone there to answer questions right away. I wasn’t too sure about online schooling, but as my family said they are on my side and they help me through the times I don’t understand the material much no matter how much I read it and researched it online and try to understand it myself. Since my boyfriend is taking college courses, we decided to start studying together Sunday nights after dinner so we would get to see each other more often and be able to finish some work together.
