He thinks as people get old or grows up, they change and lose their innocence. One of the many reasons for his affection and love towards little children, because he thinks their innocent compare to the grown-ups. One thing for sure is that, Holden wants to be successful as well anyone. "I’m always saying ‘Glad to’ve met you’ to someone I’m not at all glad I met. If you want to stay alive, you have to say that stuff, though."
Gilgamesh never thought about how hard his people had it, and he would have continued to think that they had it easier than they really did. He would have never figured it out unless he had the experience, which he did thanks to Enkidu. In the end, Enkidu really changed Gilgamesh’s perspective on the world and they way things are when you’re not being waited on all the time. Enkidu made Gilgamesh realize that he had to help others out and can’t just be helped. He made him know what it was like to have a loving friend, and the devastation of loosing one.
Believe it or not, winning games as an underdog makes a lot of people happy. It is important to understand that he isn’t acting on the future, which would add negative motives to his faith. Another important aspect to look at when trying to make an informed opinion about Tim Tebow is the mission of evangelization. In now way does Tebow for his faith or beliefs on anyone. This is important because he gives his “followers” free will.
He is so influenced by the culture around him that he is willing to “risk his life for no reason but the danger” just so his reputation will get better (Raffel 39). Though he loses this race, he loses with honor, which might be even better than winning. Beowulf constantly feels the need to one-up himself and do something even more honorable so that he is still viewed as a
When he had dreams of greatness, he didn’t hesitate one bit to share with his brothers and dad. Because he was the most adored and had awesome dreams, his siblings got very jealous and eventually tried getting rid of him. As he got older, Joseph learned a lot through a lot of painful experiences. However the one thing he desired most that money could never buy was his love and passion for Daisy. Gatsby believed that he could win the love of the woman he longed for by showering her with materialistic items. Tom also took great pride in his earnings and believed he was a better man because of them. He exclaims, “Now don’t think my opinion on this matter is final just because I’m stronger and more of a man than you are” (Fitzgerald). In “Maestro” the inspirational journey of Paul trying to grip his highest dream there was disappointment but he still received “Honorable mentions”. Paul ended up within a life “with a women and child that he loved, within the confines of I life he hated” the disappointment of not achieve his dreams and the loss of Eduard Keller does show in “maestro” but Paul doesn’t realize that he isn’t failing he is at a great level he may not be “one in a million” but he sure is “one in a thousand” and that itself is a pretty big goal to achieve itself. Paul ended up with a girl that he loves, he was no longer shy to bullies and gained confidence and he grew so much throughout “Maestro”, not all of Paul’s life is full of failure and disappointment but rather “a small hurt to save a wasted life”. Paul achieved high and he gained a wife and child afterwards this overthrows the big disappointments in his life to make his journey through it

Its apparent they that they gave their best, and they deserve their fame; but the heroes that should be shown are the ones that go with the game and never shout their name. the game players who are quietly doing deeds that help and show others their best, but that the world never shouts their name or recognize the impact they have. We need to recognize the heroes that people don’t know by name. we need to show them that we care, what better way to show them we appreciate them than to carve a replica of them in something as enduring as rock.
He must go on living knowing the failure of their dream, as well as deal with the guilt of having killed his best friend. Almost every person on this ranch dreams about something, but these dreams did not mean the same for everybody. But I admire them, because their dreams had so big sense for them.
