Each person must be willing to be a part of the team, no superstar attitudes. They also recognize that there is a leader they put trust and confidence in. They trust that leader to help the team reach their goal. When differences arise they know how to quickly get past trivial issues and focus on the bigger problem. Great teams also know their strengths and weaknesses and can complement each other to achieve results and reach the goals they are going after.
Team commitment is a vital value in the success of a team. Commitment is something that a team needs to make sure they can trust the people they are in a team with. Being committed is a source to success. If a team member is absent and never shows up then they cannot be considered faithful to the team. A team is a good team as long as everyone has the same mission in mind.
How can someone pursue Zander’s leadership suggestions while meeting the conditions of authentic and servant leadership? Zander’s current leadership goes along with authentic, because of the optimism, hope, and resilience that is needed for authentic leadership. He is willing to take risks in order to succeed, he is hopefully that the product will succeed to his customers and if he does not succeed he has resilience to bounce back from the failure. Servant leadership helps people discover their spirit, earning and keeping trust and demonstrates successful listening and service over self-interest. 3.
I feel that if they make the list exposing the problems will work out better. I say this because then they will see where their down fall is at in them as a team. 4. You would be challenged with learning your team, employers and the way that they work. The biggest challenge would be getting everyone to trust you as a leader.
It’s important that I share responsibility for the teams’ goals and targets. If during daily reviews I find these targets are not being achieved, I will muck in and provide physical support. Motivation is a key part of my role and achieving good performances from a set of different team members is a challenge. I’m experienced enough to recognise we are all motivated differently. I was also identified as cooperating, I love working in an environment where I can work and collaborate with others. Another one of my competencies was leading, I like effective leading a team to greatness. In my current role I am a manager which leads into my next competencies; coping with pressure, and adapting to change. Reflective practice is essential to personal development and the goals and targets put in place at performance reviews can help to focus you and give you a renewed sense of ability to succeed and achieve. If needs have been identified then additional training can be arranged to help you become more effective in your role and improve your confidence. When considering reflective practice you need to be open to ideas and criticisms of others. Your should reflect on your own work and the work of others around you. You need to be constantly thinking of ways to develop and improve your practice and be able to
Characteristics that a role model possesses includes high moral values, confidence, who is hardworking, respectful, has an optimistic outlook on life and can find creative solutions to their problems in the workplace. To ensure that I acted as a role model for the employees I would supervise, I would make sure that I possess all the previously said qualities and use them to my advantage. I would always show a positive attitude, be enthusiastic and involved within the workplace, and always accept responsibility of my actions if any mistakes happen on my behalf. I would also understand myself; referring to my learning style, characteristics, behaviours, and learning preferences. I would also learn to understand others and to value diversity in the workplace.
