I was a little nervous but I was mostly determined to hit the shot and end the game. When the ref raised his hand to give the ball to Tyler to inbound the ball all I could hear was my heart beating in my ears. I ran straight down the lane just like the play was designed. When I got the ball I threw up a 10 foot fade away that kissed softly off the glass as the horn sounded. As I hit the floor I saw the ball descend from the bottom of the net.
While with the Philadelphia Eagles, Owens’ main celebration was flapping his arms like he was an eagle. Because of Johnson’s and Owens’ celebrations, the NFL made it a rule that a player would be fined for excessive celebration. These celebrations are a huge part of the show that these players put on for the fans. After all, Owens and Johnson are the reason that the seats are filled the stadium. After the rule was passed Johnson called the NFL the “No Fun League.” Johnson continues to celebrate when he scores since it’s such a rare occasion for him this
I took one last glance to where Amber was. They used the Jaws of Life to get her out, and are putting her onto the stretcher, she looked a lot better. So I decided to walk over to the stretcher that I was going to be put on. I was then placed on a stretcher that felt like I was lying on a board of nails, braced up, and placed in the ambulance. I looked over and saw the old lady, she was very badly injured, and I heard the medics on the ambulance say she had at least three broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a broken arm, and a major
Before the Arrow nation realized, the clock was winding down and the shutout had turned into a nail biter. With the score now tied at thirteen and the Cougars driving late in the fourth quarter, the Arrows were in desperate need of a big play. Their prayers were answered when with under a minute to go the ball hit the ground, only to be pounced on by the strong safety from Tecumseh. The crowd erupted in a simultaneous roar. After trailing the entire game, the ball was finally in their court, but with minimal time on the clock.
Julie Divine Ms. Stacy Gaines, MA English ENGL 1313-E.202 12 August 2011 Working under pressure I instantly woke up to the sound of the tone out; it seemed as if we had just laid down. I jumped in my boots zipped them up and hurried out the door to save someone who had called 911 for chest pain in the middle of the night. In my fog I was thinking where 2300 South Jefferson is, but within seconds we were there. As we pulled up, I saw several of bystanders standing around. I told my EMT to grab the cot as I got the medical bag, monitor, and oxygen.
Many people break down and give up when they are faced with near the impossible. They take defeat with open arms and just give up. That’s not who I am, if the challenge is reasonable. I enjoy taking control of the situation, giving orders and leading my comrades to victory, or an honorable defeat in the least. Every weekend I lead my ragtag squad of friends in the virtual war zone of Battlefield Four.

Tears spilled from my eyes as I raced towards my sister, my heart pounding. I knelt down beside her and immediately started unbuckling the shackles. Act first, ask questions later was my motto. Ava got to her feet, but fell instantly into my arms. She was weak and injured and we needed to get her to a hospital.
The game was back and forth with leads changing constantly, however with the fans behind them not wanting an all black starting 5 to beat them Kentucky clawed their way to the lead. With just a couple minutes left in a very close game Bobby Joe Hill made a couple of crucial steals to give Texas Western the lead. Texas Western defended their lead well and just a couple minutes later the unthinkable happened and the whistle blew, Texas Western were the NCAA champions. What started off as a dream was now a reality, hardships and tears, ups and downs Texas Western were champions. This championship definetely did not end the problems in our world with racism or even for that time.
Michael Taylor (the Eagles quarterback) called the out GREEN 8, GREEN 8, set go go, and handed it off to Todd Doxey (the Eagles runningback) right up the middle. Doxey lost control of the ball and fumbled the ball. The Raiders defensive end picked up the ball and proceded to run toward the endzone, but it just so happend to be the wrong endzone!! when the seemingly triumphant player reached the endzone he threw thell ball into the crowd in sheer amazment, but at that moment
