Describe in your own words the five ways to wellbeing and how can they help someone to think and behave differently. What are the limitations of this approach to improving health and wellbeing? To be able to make the points that go towards this essay I will explain what the five ways to wellbeing are and how they came about, how they can improve peoples lives by making them behave differently and what the limitations are (Strengthen the structure of the long sentences by reviewing them). To do this I will be using examples taken from the first three blocks I have worked on for this course (other changes). But firstly how did the wellbeing model come about? (Remove the questions) The five ways to wellbeing is a model that was developed by the New Economics Foundation and was part of the governments two year foresight project on mental capital and wellbeing. The five ways to wellbeing model was made up from simple, evidence-based messages that were designed to help and show people how to improve their lives. What makes up the five different aspects that improve wellbeing and how do they change the way people behave and think? (Remove the questions) As Priya (additional references) pointed out in the module, the area in which she lives play a big part in her own personal wellbeing this is because it provides some or all of the aspects of the wellbeing model (Strengthen the structure of the long sentences by reviewing them.). When people get a choice of where to live they look for aspects that they feel would make them happy and would possibly not connect with their wellbeing.
