For this assignment I will be writing about a street I know in my home town of Newcastle Emlyn. The street is the main high street called Sycamore Street. Sycamore Street is in an old market town. The street is the only road through the town so is a very busy street. It’s a narrow street with only space for two lanes of traffic and no side parking, On this street there are many winners and losers, the winners are the people who use and are able to use the services and material things available and those who successfully provide these. The losers are the people who do not or are unable to use these services or material things or those who have lost out on the street e.g. small business/shops having to close due to big cooperative chains.
