The revolution that took place in America had been argued to be triggered by varies of event happening in America and around the world at that period of time, some Americans argue that it was their uprising that allowed the British to give them their freedom while on the other hand some English historians believe it was due to their mistake they lost America but what lead to the outcome of the American Revolution can be traced back to the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, and many other obstacles. In this essay, I will argue that the American’s Revolution was the making of Great Britain herself by observing the steps Great Britain took during their period in America and others underlying events that lead to one of the Greatest Revolution in history. The revolutionary era for the American Colonies began around 1763 after the British removed the military threat of the French from North America during the French and Indian War, which resulted in substantial economic debt for the British Empire. The debt was due in large part to the British desire for victory, as stated by William Pitt, the acting Prime Minister during the war, “No matter what the cost, our goal is to win.”(Straus Notes. As a result, the British Government adopted the policy that the colonies should pay an increased proportion, if not all the costs associated with keeping the North American Colonies secure from the French, Indians, and other nearby threats. As a result, Parliament and Prime Minister George Grenville passed the Proclamation of 1763, which stated that settlers were not allowed beyond the Appalachian Mountains as well as stationing ten thousand British soldiers strategically along the Appalachian Mountains.

It begins with the early 1900s when Helen Keller was a radical socialist and Woodrow Wilson was a white supremacist. It then moves back in time to the late 1400s, early 1500s, when Columbus supposedly discovered America, when in truth the Africans did. Next, it moves on to the early 1600s to when the Pilgrims arrived in Massachusetts and had the First Thanksgiving. Next, the book jumps to the mid 1700s to early 1800s to tell about the Native Americans and their struggle with Whites for their ancestral land. This leads to the mid and late 1800s, when slavery was a key issue and people like John Brown and Abraham Lincoln were alive.
The Evolution of the American Dream Before entering the Roaring Twenties, one of the interpretations of the American Dream was about equality amongst all people within society regardless of skin color or education. However, the Roaring Twenties brought forth the birth of mass culture, causing the American Dream to divert to something much different. With his novel The Great Gatsby (1925), F. Scott Fitzgerald reveals the transition of the American Dream from equality to money, which is prevalent through Nick Carraway’s reflection of advice from his father, Tom Buchanan’s feeling of superiority towards George Wilson, as well as Jay Gatsby’s constant wild parties. Racial inequality has always been present and was prevalent in the 1920s. Many felt as if an individual had colored skin, he or she was worth less than an individual who was not colored which brought conflicts with education and social rankings and caused more criticism amongst society.

The British had only been in Africa for a couple of years before they started to scheme their way into the government. They started changing the social and physical features of the African way of life in replace with the English way of life.
