He insults Polonius calling him a Whore-Monger. After this exchange Polonius remarks “Though this be madness, yet there is method in't” (II, II, 204). Meaning that Hamlet could be mad but that there seems to be intent behind his madness. When Rozencranz and Guildenstern visit Hamlet he receives them kindly until he learns they are spying for his mother. He then increases his feigned madness.

Rubbish at Adultery The title of the poem “Rubbish at Adultery” written by Sophie Hannah sets a straight forward tone that person involved in the adultery is ‘rubbish’ in his act. Hannah uses manifold structure, tone and language to paint humorous picture of an unfaithful relationship. The poem commences with the persona being irritated by the man who has come to have physical relationship with her. ‘Must I give up another night,’ suggests although they made several attempts earlier to have affair, nevertheless, the man has not extended his co-operation and wanted her to listen to his grievances every time they met. This idea is reinforced through the alliterated words ‘whinge and wine’.

Iago’s realisation of Cassio’s unusually hyperbolic gracefulness towards Desdemona allows him to twist reality. He shares his deceitful distorted imagery with Othello, “I’ll pour this pestilence into his ear” Act 2 Scene 3. Pestilence, which is a fatal epidemic disease is related to Iago’s a flow of deceptive conspiracies into Othello’s mind, “the moor already changes with my poison” Act 3 Scene 3. The poison metaphorically represents the infectious thoughts planted in the mind of Othello. Iago’s final deceptive actions, “I’ll turn her virtue into pitch” Act 2 Scene 3 express an artificial darkness being forced upon an innocent cause and his toying with Othello’s psychological thoughts.
It becomes clear that Hamlet did truly love Ophelia, yet hid it because he was a coward. The “ White Lie” is not only depicted through Hamlet denying his love but also putting a front up for the selfish betterment of his life style. After his outrageous lecture on self worth that Hamlet gives Ophelia, she grows incredibly mad, which ultimately leads to her death. Although the intentions of his lecture were clearly to hurt Ophelia and gain power over her, once he realizes she is dead he feels the need to express his actual love for her. His change of attitude grows confusing as he professes his dear love after her awful death, “ I loved Ophelia.
Kathy was being a selfish wife because she did not want to listen to, nor talk about John’s issues, and instead she chooses to ignore them. In a relationship, mutual communication is essential between the individual and his or her spouse. According to an article on Psych Central entitled Marriage Communication by Erika Krull, “The whole point of communicating is to be clearly understood. To do that, your channel of communication must go two ways” with your significant other. In Kathy and John’s case, John was trying to communicate with Kathy about an important subject and Kathy is too wrapped up in herself, leaving John with no one to talk to.
As stated in the following quote “You shall do marvellous wisely, good Reynaldo, before you visit him, to make inquire of his behaviour” (2.1.3-5). Polonius was ordering the servant Reynaldo to spy on Laertes, and to secretly look after him. This type of logic that Polonius is using shows the distrust and fake appearance that he portrays to his own son. Another method of deception used by Polonius would be concealment. After Hamlet had staged the play, and noticed Claudius’s reaction, Gertrude was willing to speak to Hamlet about the play, and how Claudius is furious about it.
That why he is a betrayer in my opinion, he lies to people and he always wants to be a two-faced person. One this Brutus did and seemed fake and not caring for others was being best friends with J.C and after wards talking horrible about him and how he thought J.C was too ambitious. Brutus will always talk about anyone behind their backs no matter who they were and I find that very inconsiderate and cruel. Even though Brutus knew that Ceasar was going to die he was planning on to helping to kill him. Meanwhile, When Brutus kills himself he shouts out words of peace to Caesars spirit “Caesar, you can rest now.
