Is Gatsby Great? “Every great man, every successful man, no matter what the field of endeavor, has known the magic that lies in these words: every adversity has the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit.” To be great, one must be considerably above the normal or average to an extent or intensity. In the novel, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, the main protagonist Jay Gatsby is portrayed as a great man through all the wonderful and heart wrenching things he’s done. Gatsby’s greatness is below the surface, in order to understand the man himself, one must truly be intrigued by all his riches and want to know the core of this enigma. By having an economic influence, the country can also have a large number of companies and economic self-sufficiency. Trade is one of the key ways in which superpowers make money. Most world trade takes places between Europe, North America and Asia. This is trade in goods and services and is high value. It earns money for global TNCs, the majority of which are from the developed world.
Participation in the Seminar is a very important part of this course. It is the one chance that you have each week to interact with your classmates and your instructor real-time. Seminar is a great opportunity to cover course material in a fun and dynamic forum where you can discuss what you’ve learned in each unit and ask questions about topics that you don’t yet understand. Students should actively participate in each seminar. During each seminar, the instructor will be asking students lots of questions from the reading assignments, so there will be many opportunities to answer and to make additional comments or ask questions of your own.
Format: Weekly group discussions will be facilitated by a skilled physiologist. Content and specific information will be provided by the students from their handouts, texts and outside resources. Specific problem sets will be provided one week prior to the PGY 207 class in which they will be discussed. Students will be expected to prepare a brief typed response for each question and be prepared to discuss the problems in detail during class. After the reading lesson, students will write two RAFTs in the style of the times to show their War Times to the Present: understanding. In this lesson, students will read and analyze literary devices used in Edgar Allan Poe's "The Masque of the Red Death." They will read the first part of the story with support and modeling from the teacher, the next part in small Creating Suspense Lesson 1: groups, and the final section on their own. Students will examine Poe's use of imagery, foreshadowing, simile, Analyzing Literary Devices in personification, symbolism, and characterization.

The United States tried to out-do Soviet Union’s space missions by landing the very first man on the moon. As a result, NASA came up with the infamous Apollo 1 mission. Many Americans favored the mission, but there were ones who politically disagree with it. The Apollo mission was launched in 1969, carrying 2 man including Neil Armstrong onto the moon. This successful mission led Americans to believe that they won the unofficial race, but the Soviets differ by claiming that launching the first man to space makes them the victors.
