It gives a straigthforward retelling of what actions the Khmer Rouge took after coming to power. The website describes how the Khmer Rouge forced a mass exodus from cities towards farm lands, planning to create one large federation of farms. The Khmer Rouge sistimatically killed anything having to do with the educated "imperialistic" class.
Since there was an estimated number of two million people killed during the reign of the Khmer Rouge it was known as the Cambodian Genocide or Cambodian Holocaust. There are leaders all over the world but one leader in particular is Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge (the group he led) took over Cambodia and killed many people to succeed their goal of an agricultural reform. In the Holocaust, there were 5.59-5.86 million and in the Rwanda Genocide there were 800,000 and 1,000,000 which could be as high as 20% of their population. In the book Night, there was a scene that showed the mass killings that the Nazis’ committed, they shoved all of the people in death camps and lined them up and killed them. In Hotel Rwanda they lined them up and killed them. Another similarity that they share is the cruelty and the heartlessness that they have. Even when the children were begging to have mercy, they still killed them.
The RPF were military trained Tutsis who had fled to Uganda back in 1959 during the riots. The way that the RPF took over Rwanda was by first entering the country, and then slowly taking over it and its government. In conclusion the Rwandan Genocide was a mass killing spree mainly led by the Hutu to completely kill out the Tutsis ethnic group. The victims of this genocide were treated horribly after the genocide started. The males were treated as slaves while the females were treated as sex slaves. They were part in camps that they tortured and killed in. Armenians died of starvation, exhaustion, and epidemics, which ravaged the concentration camps. It is estimated that one and a half million Armenians died between 1915 and 1923.
Pol Pot was the communist head of the Khmer Rouge that was founded in 1963. His goal in his regime was to create an agrarian utopian society. After Japan’s imperialistic forces pulled out of Cambodia, the Cambodian wanted nothing more to do with imperialism, and this led to Pol Pot leverage later in his campaign. After a rigged federal election of the elites, Pol Pot started his involvement in the Khmer Rouge Party. Rouge in French means red symbolizing, A communist party.

This quote explains how brutal the Spaniards were towards the Arawaks, while the Arawaks were obedient and listened to the Spaniards. Even though the Arawaks tried to help the Spaniards to find gold, they were painfully murdered and imprisoned. Enslavement of Africans was also a situation in which the people who were obedient got punishments.
