IS DAIRY BAD FOR HUMANS I had my first panic attack when I was 22 years old. I had just left a friends house where she made one of my favorite dinners for us, chicken parmesan. I remember how my blood pressure sky rocketed so high that my body couldn’t handle it and I went into a panic. I thought I was going to have a heart attack or something. I remember my friends telling me to relax and drink some milk, that it would calm me down, what a mess! After doing a bunch of blood tests the next day after it had finally subsided, I realized I was sick to my stomach. I thought maybe it was salmonella or something, but why hadn’t the others been sick too. Finally after having more dairy products I realized it was milk making me sick. I realized shortly after consuming milk I would get anxiety and go into a panic. For the past 6 years I’ve known what milk does to my body yet still found it hard to avoid it. I’ve tried so hard but it just seems to be in everything that tastes good. I have been sick to my stomach for nearly six years! I’ve tried everything, pills, avoidance, lactose free milk, and nothing seems to help. I just found out that lactose can stay in your body for up to 30 days. It’s no wonder every time I ate a non-dairy meal I was still getting the symptoms, and would turn to something else. I am so glad I decided to do my paper on the effects of milk on the human body because I have discovered so much I didn’t know. Bad gas and diarrhea are just the mild effects, there are over a hundred conditions cows milk can create in your body, and I am going to talk about only a few of the most important to me. Until the 1930's, dairy products were not considered an essential food group.
