With this job I really enjoyed being able to dress the mannequins, before any customers came into the store. I had to give them a sense of style to sell and advertise clothing in my section of the store. In Forever 21 all the rooms in the store have different themes. I particularly worked in the plus size section of the store, so I had to put all those themes inside of one room. I adored being able to pick the clothes I liked for the mannequin and choosing accessories, purses etc.
The fashion designer that inspires me the most is Betsey Johnson. Betsey Johnson is a designer who started out as a dancer and was inspired by the costumes to start designing. All of Betsey’s clothing are funky, out there things that you would only see from her. Betsey Johnson shows through her clothing that it is ok to just be yourself. Betsey Johnson through hard work and many ups and downs has carved herself a permanent name in fashion.

My organisation (The Lost Society) purpose was to create a brand which will compete with brands like Topman or River Island, as well as to maximise sales and generate as much profit as possible, which could be then invested into the development of retail stores. The actual website contributes to fulfilling my business’ purpose by achieving what the target audience are expecting of the website.
