It is not enough to have all the market data. Besides meeting the company with which we negotiate our competitors, the current situation, and so on; it is important to have information about our partners, their country and their culture. While the behavior and manners are a universal component, there are certain traditions, customs and uses that distinguish one culture from another and which are crucial when moving in society and in business. The formula "in Rome do as the Romans do" may work in leisure travel. But when it comes to business, a mistake can throw an agreement or a contract, and a lot of hard work. It is therefore important to know the main aspects of each culture, when traveling abroad or welcome our visitors.
