Literature Review

From reading HRM literature I find out that scholars are started to put more attention on culture as the success factors on HRM practise.
(Kramar and Syed 2012). Analysed the impact of culture on HRM, how the culture shapes people`s respect and obedience in for lows and regulations. They stated that the various HRM practises such a recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation systems, performance appraisal and employment relationship are affected by macro contextual factors.(Sparrow and Hilltop 1994) named the process of ignoring the difference of national culture as a trap, and suggested to escape that trap, to conduct successful HRM practise.
(Tayeb 2005) also underlined importance of culture. According the Tayeb`s point of view HRM is a soft aspect of an organization. Hence HRM is more influenced by the culture than are financial and technical matters which are considered to be the ‘hard’ aspects of an organisation. (Dowling and Welich 2004) underlined the importance of international HRM management practise to understand the multicultural environment. They stated that; the universal approach to HRM management is to acquire multicultural adoptability.
Frederick (1997) discusses the moral authority of codes of conduct in transnational companies and suggest that they indicate the emergence of transnational corporate ethics and guidelines that have direct applicability to a number of central operations and policies of multinationals including...
