Diversity is worldwide. Countries are mainly differentiated by their culture, religion, social and weather conditions. People from different countries have different dresses, customs, and linguistic characteristics. Every country has its different physical, geographical, environmental conditions. Firstly, there are 28 states in India and each state has different religion. For example, there are traditions in Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism.Example: 80% of people in India are Hindus. Hinduism is a colorful religion with huge colonnade of Gods and Goddesses and is one of the most ancient religions in the world. In ancient times Buddhism and Jainism were very popular. Sikhism was established in 15th century and is newest religion. On the other hand, Canada has similar culture to United States. It is a country without an official religion. Majority of population follow Christianity. Canada has many diverse religions because of increase in immigration from areas such as Africa, Asia, and Middle East. It has contributed to the growth of Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, and Buddhist.…show more content…
Example: the most popular dress of Indian women is saree with different styles, whereas men generally wear shirt, trousers, dhoti and kurta. Indians prefer to live in joint family, doing arrange marriages. Whereas Canadians prefer more of the nuclear families and it is impossible to understand the culture and customs of Canada without coming into grips with central circumstance of Canadian life.
