1) Identify 2 areas in your life in which you believe your reasoning skills are strong and/or adequate. The first area that I am strong at is being able to take knowledge from other areas and adapt it for new learning situations or other purposes. An example of this would be that I have been able to take my parenting skills and use these when working with other people and other personalities. The second area that I am strong at is being able to evaluate information or situations and use it to be more productive. 2) Identify 2 areas in your life in which you lelieve your reasoning skills are weak and/or need improvement. One area that I am weak in would be that I tend to believe it is easier to just do something myself than to take the time to explain what I need or expect to someone else. I also am weak in that I tend to not listen to other people when I have my mind made up about something. 3) Identify sources of your beliefs and provide examples of beliefs gotten from the various sources. I would say that a major source of my beliefs would be from family. An example of this would be that I have always strived to emulate my grandmother, whom I believe to the strongest, smartest, and most loving human being to have ever walked this earth. 4) Discuss whether and/or how you evaluate information presented to you. I probably sometimes over evaluate information presented to me. I don’t take anything at face value. I believe that we need to research on our own and from multiple reliable sources before we conform to a believe or thought. 5) Discuss how open-minded you feel yourself to be. I think that I am an extremely open minded person. Growing up in a family that was very closed minded about everything I think that I have always gone out of my way to be open-minded to the world around me.
