Weaknesses for the Korvette Company played a major role for their downfall in the business world. Lack of management stabilization was a key weakness area for Korvette. Not having a consistent team to manage all the storefronts made it difficult for the company to keep track of sales and the sufficient training needed to operate under the original format. The inability to cope with all the changes and additions to the company also caused the company to struggle. As a company try to grow and expand their business, the proper team must be in place that specialize in key areas they want to expand in.
Critical thinking also allows you to connect ideas and evidence to see the bigger picture. Knowing how to successfully use critical thinking in decision making will allow you to make better conclusions and solutions to solve problems successfully. Critical thinking and decision making are tools that everyone utilizes for everyday activity. Decision making can range from impulsive, routine and reasoned. Critical thinking plays a crucial part in decision making.

He most likely felt like an outcast or forgotten. If Christine understood the stages of team development, she could have addressed the situation at hand to get Mike up to speed with the rest of the team. Christine did not immediately address the primary issue with Mike and grew concerned in the middle of the semester. She needed to figure out how to deal with only the rough hand-written submitted notes of ideas, while the rest of the team developed into the "Performing" stage with their part of the assignment completed. Part II: Problem Identification The primary problem is Christine's lack of experience as a leader.
The competencies exercise revealed my top strengths to be leading, cooperating, coping with pressure, networking, taking initiative and innovating. I am someone who enjoys leading and developing others to achieve results. I can improve upon my critical thinking skills by knowing my strengths and accepting my weaknesses. This will also help with evaluating arguments in a meaningful way. When one knows their competencies they can step up and utilize their strengths and leverage others when needed.
He is ruthless in the sense that he presents impossible deadlines for the people who work under him. Though they work all night they are expected to come to work on time the next morning. He used false business meetings in some cases to make the employees come in earlier than the office hours. Make them redo the work over and over until they meet his expectations within a very short span of time. Though he has extra information that can be used for a project he never used to pass it to the assignee and use it as a reference to criticize their work.
Imagine getting ready for work and knowing that you could get injured or killed just by doing your job. Or, when saying goodbye to your family having the thought that you might never see them again if something goes wrong at work. This would be stressful for anyone. However, this is what police officers do every day they go to work. They have to forget about these thoughts, because if they don’t it will be in their heads all day and they wont be able to focus on the job as hand.
If the company ceases to manufacture some products required by those big customers in order to decrease the inventory and cut off the cost, the company may lose contract with those important customers. Another problem confronting the company is that some medium and small-sized customers complained that there are insufficient products to be shipped. So, the dilemma comes out. The company has big inventory stored, meanwhile some customers always complains about the lack of products. One major reason is that the company always keeps the not-updated information and thus the improper inventory.
What we didn’t happen to realize then is that every person in a team is different and everyone has his own strength and limitation. Some people were really fast that they complete a day’s work in a matter of hours. Some people were slow and it took more time for them to complete the work. This slowly started a team conflict. Some of my team mates felt that they overwork while the others didn’t do much work at all.
The reason for this variety is that an organization's structure can make a real difference to the way it performs. That's why some companies achieve success through strict controls and systems, but others that try to duplicate that structure may suffer terrible results. It's also why a start-up company has to evolve its structure over time as it grows, and as its strategy and its environment change. Successful organizations are those that have figured out the best way to integrate and coordinate key internal and external elements. And they understand the importance of reviewing and redesigning their structures on an ongoing basis.
