Introduction The massive flood which happened recently in Johor had forced more than 46000 of helpless local people to evacuate their home and move to the 200 relief centers state-wide. (The Star Online, 2011) According to The Star, The flood which was caused by heavy downpour of rain with drizzles which continued for over a week which affected 10 district areas. Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman said that Segamat, Johor Bahru, and Kluang are the worst hit areas. (Benjamin, Cameons, Yee, 2011) This flood is feared to be a repeated major incident which occurred four years ago in the year 2006 which had taken six lives and more than a billion in property damaged. (Kruger, 2011) The flood this time is said to be the worst compared to the previous ones. It caused more than millions of ringgit of damaged property and livestock at the same two lives have been reported fatal. (Benjamin, Cameons, Yee, 2011). Thousands of commuters heading back to their home for the Chinese New Year Celebration were disrupted by floods on truck road and a section of the North South Expressway. Public transport KTM Berhad had been forced to temporarily stop some of its intercity train services route to both Ngeri Sembilan and Johor due to the flooded railway which is dangerous for train to run on. (The Star Online, 2011) Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has also disconnected electricity supplies especially to Segamat by switching off the substations as precautions. (The Star Online, 2011) Food provisions had been running low because all the supermarkets ran out of stock. (Kruger, 2011). According to the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia (DID) online river level data, three rivers burst their banks causing the water level in Johor rising dangerously causing motorists to leave their vehicles.
