The score was 2-1, playing in the last few minutes of the game, he wanted to make one more goal, faking out the defense moving the ball down field, he does a trick shot and he scores! With 4 second left, he scored one last goal and won the game! Everyone runs to the field cheering for Jack and The Warriors! College scouts swarming the field, trying to get Jack’s attention. Every head coach handing out their business card to him, every coach wanted him to be a part of their team, but he only had one team he was interested in being a part of.
The opponent cleared the ball and it was coming straight towards me in the middle of the defense. I had time to bring the ball down, control it, and play it to someone in the midfield. While I was getting in position I slipped right in front of the fans and their team bench and made the first big mistake of the game. The ball got past me and a forward on the opposing team ran onto it and put it away for the first goal of the game with fifteen minutes remaining in the first half. We were deflated and the fans harassed me the entire rest of the half.
Some Texan fans started to think the game was over and the Texans would win. Little did they know they were facing the best quarterback, Peyton Manning. With 8 minutes left in the fourth, the Colts scored and finally took the lead, 21-20. I started to feel the momentum shift. A few plays later, the Houston quarterback threw an interception for a touchdown.
When we entered the stadium to play we were a little early so we got some water and started getting each other excited to play. Then it was time, we went onto the field screaming and hollering like maniacs. When the first team came out to play we were ready to play some defense. They ran to the left, and then the right and then down the middle, no matter where they went we stopped them we had them locked out, there was no way they could score. By the end of their twenty plays, Rosemont had scored one touchdown, we were ecstatic.
Conversion (extra points after a touchdown is scored) Attempted from the three-yard line. By running into the end zone with the ball scores 1 point. By passing into the end zone to a teammate scores 2 points. Safety scores 2 points. Catching the opposite team behind its own goal line with the ball.
Twice during their senior year, Nat had managed to miss the ball completely with his foot, creating some of the most watched video footage of all. The second miss had resulted in a 94 yard run for a touchdown - he had been standing in his own end zone, missed the ball completely, and then, in a series of scrambles and more attempts to kick it, he finally picked up the ball and ran it for the TD. Every other player including the opposing school was laughing so hard that no one could have stopped him if they tried! Rake later gave Nat the Award for the Ugliest Touchdown of the Year. When Neely enters the shop, Nat is overwhelmed to see him.
Name: Heath Kelly Date: 6/18/12 ID#:1202674 Coach I am exhausted I can’t do it. “Never say you can’t do anything Heath I know you have the effort son!” Coach Peebles hollered. Yes sir coach I will give it all I got. It was fourth quarter and we were down by six and all we needed was one touchdown and a PAT to win the game. The play was coming to me and everybody was depending on me.
The time when every person in the world except me thought that the 2004 Western Conference Finals game was over. There were .4 seconds left on the clock, and the crowd had lost hope. The LA Lakers took a timeout to plan the shot and the other team, the San Antonio Spurs had already started to celebrate. Then one player stepped up and said, “I will take the last shot.” His players name was Derek Fisher. The Lakers in bounded the ball, and the ball was quickly thrown to Fisher.
Playing football in Pop Warner and in middle school were jus stepping-stones to what I wanted to accomplish in high school. Freshman year we finished 10-0 and I was sure that my sophomore year was going to be “my year.” The next season came around the corner and I was not on the field rather I was on the sidelines. A lot of people told me “ Don’t worry Blake your time will come.” I could have looked at things differently but the one thing I hate more than anything is watching someone else play quarterback. The season went on and I would clean up the blowout games and things most backups did. After the season I decided I had had enough.
The other team is a joke and my Bro only faces 3 shots. The game ends 5 to 0 with a win and a big trophy that I never had the chance to touch. My brother wins the most outstanding player award by only letting in 1 goal the entire tournament. The tradition of sickness happened my brother was sick for
