Wright (2011) begins his book by discussing the life of Jesus, and how he was and still is a model in which all Christian counselors should all strive to be like. As Christian counselors we are to lead by example and should always do our best to assure that we are helping and not hurting those who face a crisis. His biblical perspective ensures that those who are in crisis will overcome their situation by putting more emphasis on scripture and relying on God’s word when he says “It is the Lord who goes before you.
