I loved playing outside when I was a child. Now, as a young adult, playing outside does not interest me. As I grew up my mind changed as to what is fun and cool. As a child, I wanted to spend every spare moment outside playing. In my neighborhood, there was plenty to do to keep us entertained for hours. We could explore through the trees behind our houses or play hide and go seek in our cul-de-sac. As soon as I would arrive home from after school care, I would rush and do my homework so I could get my neighbors and play. One thing we all loved to do was race our bikes down this really big hill in front of my house. We would line up at the top of the hill and yell, “go”. Peddling as fast as we could, we would reach the bottom of the hill, and then we would climb back to the top of the hill to do it all over again. After the sun went down, we would use porch and street lights to play freeze tag around our houses. The fun was over when my parents would yell for me to come inside. When I was younger, my neighborhood had a wooden playground. There were two parts to the playground, and sometimes we would pretend they were pirate ships
