Our atmosphere stores gases, known as greenhouse gases, like water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane gas, fluorinated gases, and nitrous oxide. These greenhouse gases trap some of the radiation which warms our planet to allow humans, plants and animals to survive. The dramatic changes to the climate from greenhouse gases is not a natural process which is why the climate changes are such a big issue . Throughout the history of the earth natural climate changes have been known to occur over thousands of years due to the Earth’s orbit and the exposure to the sun. That fact is actually used in arguments for people that believe global warming is a myth.
Mold depends on climate change because without water mold cannot grow. Mold prefer wet material which it can get from air when the air is damp the humidity makes molds grow. With climate change there are more rising in temperatures, heavy rainstorms and more climate events which are affect today’s society. Scientists are confident that many of the observed changes in the climate can be linked to the increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, caused largely by people burning fossil fuels to generate electricity, heat and cool buildings, and power vehicles. The New Ice Age: The Possibility of the Emergence of an Ice Age as a Result of Global Warming For years now, scientists and politicians alike have argued to accuracy of the theory of global warming. While a growing majority of scientists see global warming as a looming threat to the well-being of mankind, there are still a few that doubt the very existence of a threat at all. Within the group of scientists who believe that global warming is indeed happening, there are some who believe that it is simply an inevitable result of natural climate fluctuation, consistent with the changes in climate that we’ve seen in history. Many however, believe that global warming is the direct impact of manmade greenhouse gases being emitted into our troposphere. The evidence for the existence of global warming is plentiful and reliable, and most scientists scoff at those who deny a theory that they believe should be considered a fact.
Scientists have correctly been showing that if we had no greenhouse effect the earth’s average temperature would be much colder and consequently human life would be impossible. In order to understand how people are able to influence these processes, a further illustration of the greenhouse effect can be useful. After reaching the earth surface the solar radiation is converted into heat and reflected to the universe. Because of the greenhouse gases which are able to absorb and to reflect a huge part of the thermal radiation back to earth, the global average temperature increases from -18 C up to 15 C. However the huge problem is that the human race is devastatingly intensifying this effect. During the past years people all over the world have experienced changes in precipitation and increases in temperature.
The everyday products we use such as, plastic wrap made of PVC plastic, have a negative impact on the environment and we have to care of our environment in order to do that we must choose more eco friendly alternatives. Global climate change is more than people seem to realize, it is a very grave matter along with the effects it brings on the environment. Encyclopedia Britannica addresses global climate change as, different measures of earth’s climate that include, changes in precipitation patterns, winds, ocean currents and, of course, temperature The climate is being altered to change in an unnaturally rapid manner by pollution, which in turn is causing global warming, which is being created by humans. We are accountable for many if not all of the cause of global warming because, “The causes of global warming and are influenced by human endeavors to obtain energy and natural resources” (Rodriguez). We use natural
Does Human Activity Influence Global Climate Change? Global climate change is the gradual increase in the overall temperature of the atmosphere of the Earth. It is caused by carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants. The biggest contributor to global climate change are greenhouse gases (gases that trap heat in the atmosphere) such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide. An unnaturally large amount of these “greenhouse gases” are released by human activities like burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and mining.
Another view is the health effects from long-term pollutions. A third view is who hold the companies liable for their contribution to the change in the climate. Some people who cares about the climate and the people who do not care about the environment. Humans are major contributor in changing the environment. “Their influence is known as the greenhouse gases, which are carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone, and water vapor”(“American Meteorological Society 2007”).
First of all to understand the importance of the Kyoto protocol there is a need to figure out what it’s all about and why greenhouse gases are considered so dangerous. After being produced by factories, machines, cars etc. these gases go up to the atmosphere, acting there as glass in a usual greenhouse – they let all the heat in but don’t let the heat out of the atmosphere. And the more greenhouse gases are produced, the more threatened our environment is. It causes global climate changes including the melting of glaciers, floods in one part of our planet and droughts in the other, heavy snowfalls, tsunami and other nature anomalia.
Over the years, people have been exposed to air pollution which was brought by human’s lifestyle and activities. Most of these have also been causes of global warming. Global warming is when the earth heats up (the temperature rises). It happens when greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, water vapor, nitrous oxide, and methane) trap the sun’s heat in the earth’s atmosphere, which increases the temperature. This hurts many people, animals, and plants.
Since the beginning of time there has been changes in weather, climate, and the earth itself has changed as well. After being in this Environmental class even through my own ideas about the situation, in terms of the world and its environment, I have come to realize as many scientists already have said that it is the human races fault for the increase in temperature all over the world. We continue to burn fossil fuels and other non-renewable forms of energy and it is doing bad things to our environment. One of those things that is being affected most by this misuse and abuse of fossil fuels is our climate. Our climate has changed dramatically over the years and we are beginning to see the consequences of this abuse we have done to mother earth.
