It is located in the Mediterranean region. Italy is a democratic republic that has a current population of around 60 million people, making it twenty-third most populous country in the world. It is the founding member of NATO and the European Union. When I hear about Italy I just imagine sea, mountains, ancient buildings, pizza, pasta, fashion and of course Ferrari. It is easy to find Italy in the world map it looks like shoe. This amazing country attracts million people with its history and beauty. Italy survived from different historical situations. The period since Rome Empire and fascism was full of changes. There were many rulers and dictators, many revolutions and wars. Basically, Italy survived from Mussolini’s ruling. After WWII, Italy proclaimed Republic. And nowadays, Italy is one of the most famous countries in the world. I want to discuss about historical events in contemporary Italy and about economic and political systems. In my research paper I will cover three scholarly articles to understand the topic in details.
