Consumers are more probable to practice an external search for high participation products. For example, the consumer may ask an opinion from their friends on their health insurance before they become insured with a particular company. Therefore, the organizations that create products that are designated principally through external search must participate in consuming information obtainable to the consumer in need. Good information for consumer to obtain is brochures, flyers and websites. Internal factors and external factors that may influence the executive team’s decision making maybe information source such as media, consumer, and advertising. These internal factors and external factors that might have the most instrumental in making the decision to become a for-profit entity is the data from the evaluations. In the decision-making process, evaluation is where the executive or consumers can see the progress or certain evaluated criteria that are needed to make a major decision. The evaluation may be the most instrumental in making the decision to become a for-profit entity because it allows the executive teams to see the particular performance of that particular organization. The important of the post-purchase evaluation has led many health care organizations to measure the satisfaction of their patients or their referral sources. Satisfaction is a measure as a confirmation or disconfirmation of the consumer’s expectations regarding performance of chosen product or service. Consumers can use data obtained from customer satisfaction measurement surveys as part of their internal search information when making subsequent purchase decisions (Berkowitz, 2011 p.130).
