Market segments usually respond in a conventional manner to a marketing or promotion offer. The market for the Lowe’s retail stores will be segmented in the business-to-customer market environment. Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is a FORTUNE® 50 company that serves approximately 15 million customers a week at more than 1,750 home improvement stores in the United States, Canada and Mexico (Lowe's Companies, Inc, 2011).
